We have resisted the urge to reinvent the wheel and instead follow the roadmap set by the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design rating system for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB).   With the intent to "Reduce the exposure of building occupants and maintenance personnel to potentially hazardous chemical, biological and particulate contaminants which adversely affect air quality, human health, building finishes, building systems and equipment."

As society works to become greener, CIM has committed itself to providing all of our clients with safe and environmentally responsible green cleaning program. Our green cleaning services use environmentally friendly products while working to reduce contaminants that pollute our Earth.

All CIM staff is trained in green cleaning service best practices and regularly use:

• Microfiber systems

• Floor matting

• HEPA/ULPA vacuums

• Specialized chemical dispensing systems

 

Additional eco-friendly office cleaning practices include:

• Vendors that offer eco-friendly and green cleaning service products

• Investing capital towards green cleaning initiatives

• Development and research on partnering green cleaning products with green cleaning service processes

• Educating clients about the importance of green services
